Shelter (two hours)

you cannot survive more than two hours without shelter

I'll grant that you CAN live for more than two hours without shelter, but only if the weather holds out. Sunburn, heat stroke, hypothermia, frost bite and Zombie Virus Infection can all occur in the Great Outdoors. That's why I'm such a big fan of the indoors. And don't get me started on non life-threatening things, like ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, chiggers, wasps, flies, red ants, killer bees and lice. And that list didn't even include the arachnid family.

Keeping some of the creature comforts during an emergency eliminates stress. Stress is BAD in a survival situation.
